Mary & Duane Laflin

Magic - World renowned gospel illusionist Duane Laflin and his wife, Mary, specialize in family friendly entertainment. Duane is former international president of FCM. Now based in Branson, MO, they worked for three years at Magic Beyond Belief Theater in Pigeon Forge TN and for seven years in Custer, SD with their Grand Magic Show.

Due to minor accident that injured his hand, Joey will not be at MCCMC. Others have stepped in to fill in at the last minute. See updated schedule!

Joey Evans

Magic - Currently serving as international president of FCM, Joey has performed unique comedy magic at private events, on cruise ships, corporate events, and for celebrities and politicians, including two U.S. presidents.

David Turner

Ventriloquist - His love of ventriloquism began at age 10 and his love for wood crafting led him to carve several wooden figures in his act. David Turner has performed in 13 countries. Chosen by Armed Forces Entertainment to entertain military troops and their families overseas, he also performs for churches, fairs, festivals, conventions, civic groups, and corporations. David’s ventriloquism has been influenced by his proximity to Nashville, capital of country music.

Stephen Lewis Pennington

Puppets - Steve Pennington is a skilled puppeteer, public speaker, storyteller, builder and children's pastor. He was master puppeteer for Walt Disney World’s “Legend of the Lion King”, “The Voyage of the Little Mermaid”, and “Beauty and The Beast on Broadway.” An Emmy award winner, he co-created WSMV's Snowbird. He is a writer/director and founder of Pro-Kids Show which has been in 10,000 schools. He was program director for children’s ministries at Saddleback Church creating video curriculum and programs for 4000 children.

Glenna Thompson aka Daisy the Clown

Face Painting & Balloons - Performing as Daisy the Clown for 19 years, Glenna specializes in balloons, face painting and comedy magic. Before her career as a children’s entertainer, she worked as a professional actress and singer. She is involved with children’s ministry at Bowling Green Community Church, where her husband of 21 years is minister. Blessed to share her talents with people all over the country, in 2015, she had the privilege of decorating with balloons at the White House.

Tay Williams

Mime - Through his comedic, creatively unique and character-based presentations, Tay Williams has motivated thousands of students through creative storytelling to improve character, self-worth, and leadership. As a teacher for 25+ years, he quickly relates to his audience. With his positive message, "You Be You’, his techniques are simple, down-to-earth, and designed to turn everyday people into remarkable individuals. Tay’s style is influenced by Charlie Chaplin, Nicholas brothers, pantomime artists Shields & Yarnell, slapstick comedy of Dick Van Dyke to the moonwalk of Michael Jackson.

Steve Varro

Magic - Former international president of FCM, Steve Varro began his ministry as a full-time Christian Illusionist in 1978 in southern California presenting programs at Christian schools, camps, and churches. He now resides in Nashville, TN and travels worldwide sharing “The Magic of God’s Love.”

Harvey Barfenfloss

Comedy - Steve Varro's alter ego, Harvey Barfenfloss, Tennessee’s Most Eligible Bachelor, hails from the back hills of Tennessee. Harvey is a unique critter...er... character with quick one liners and sight gags.

Bruce Amato

Magic - One of the busiest magic entertainers in the southeast, Bruce Amato performs over 300 shows a year. Writer for several magic publications, he has written several books on magic as well as produced his own line of magic products and DVDs. He is on staff for Kidabra International. In his spare time, he is a drummer in the Nashville music scene.

Nick Wilkins aka Broadway the Clown

Clowning - Nick Wilkins trained ais an alumnus of Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Clown School and worked with the circus also. He has performed as Broadway the Clown for 45 years.

Alumnus of Ringling Bros.& Barnum & Bailey Clown College and Circus, Nick Wilkins as Broadway the Clown, has been clowning professionally for 45 years. The son of the late "Wandi The Magician," he entertains and brings smiles to all ages for any occasion. Fun and humor are talents that can be learned, and Nick is the person to bring out your inner clown!

Ed Leto aka Fumbles the Clown

Clowning - Most known for his lovable character, Fumbles the Clown, Ed Leto is a graduate of Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey’s Clown College in 1995. No stranger to the stage, he performed as a variety artist using magic, comedy, juggling, stilt walking, balloons, escapes, fire-eating, and other acts from 2000 to 2008 for hotels, resorts, colleges, corporate and other functions. Now lecturing on the Bible, he still has a love for the arts.

John Welcher

Magic & Storytelling - An ordained pastor, John Welcher shares the gospel in his unique way, performing gospel magic and ballooning in four countries. He taught at leadership and ministry conferences for 20 years including international FCM conference for the past two years.

Steve Kilgore

Vent - Steve has been a magician and ventriloquist for over 40 years. Now Steve builds custom figures for ventriloquists around the globe. Steve shares his building skills and shows tips on how to make a ventriloquist dummy.

Tim Fox

Oldetyme Strongman Storyteller Tim Fox demonstrates old fashioned strongman feats like bending horseshoes and steel rods with his bare hands. He does anti-bullying school assemblies, demonstrations for small groups, churches and rehab facilities. Instagram is STRONGMANSTORYTELLING. This is a special presentation you do not want to miss!

Tom Gibson

Magic - As a full-time minister, Tom uses gospel magic each Sunday to illustrate his sermons. He customizes tricks for church activities, civic and community events, conventions, parties and public theatrical shows. A charter member of Middle TN FCM and former president of that club as well as Middle TN IBM Ring 252 and Nashville IBM Ring 37.
